Lauren, Sam, Katie and I all drove down together early Wednesday morning, and went directly to the Perfect Pig, a local breakfast and lunch spot, for our first meal at the beach.

30-A Cruisin'
Thanks to Craig who agreed to bring my bike down to the beach in his truck bed, I took a long ride down 30-A on the first morning. 31 miles from Santa Rosa Beach to Rosemary Beach and back. This was my first official ride that I actually exercised my right to "share the road."
Thinking Differently at the Beach
As I've began to go to the Destin beach area for vacation more often in recent years, I've started the tradition of doing lots of reading to relax. Typically its a historical novel or a biography. I like immersing myself in the story while also reflecting on the impacts those people had on the world.
Lunch Break!
Lauren and I went back to the house for a quick lunch. Of course, we also took this opportunity to reapply our sunscreen.
Early morning ROMWOD (stretching) on the Beach
On the second morning, instead of another bike ride, I decided to work out my soreness from the previous day's ride by going down to the beach for a sunrise ROMWOD. Very relaxing despite the eerie fog that was over the water.

Final Day Fancy Set-up
Grammy decided to gift us all a nice set up with real umbrellas and beach chairs from Jongle! Thanks Grammy! Also, we busted out the boogie boards on Day 3!

The final evening at the beach turned out to be a beautiful sunset! Certainly enjoy seeing creation sing of His glory!
